Why VFL Was Built
Federal buyers need a small business supplier who understands both sides of a requirement: how the government defines and documents what it needs, and how the commercial supply chain actually delivers it. VFL was formed to close that gap for industrial, aviation, MRO, hardware, electrical, and mission-support products, operating as a single responsive point of contact between federal requirements and the manufacturer and distributor base that fills them.
As an SBA-certified SDVOSB, VFL is structured to compete for federal set-aside opportunities while holding itself to the documentation, traceability, and delivery discipline that federal contracts require.
Founder Experience
VFL’s leadership brings background in U.S. Air Force military aviation, including hands-on F-16 and F-35 aircraft maintenance experience and direct exposure to mission-critical material accountability in high-readiness operational environments. This background extends into DoD acquisition experience on a major ACAT IB program, including program integration and operations work within FAR/DFARS-controlled environments, coordination with DCMA, and government property accountability.
This experience was gained through prior military service and employment, not as Vanguard Federal Logistics LLC contract performance. It informs how VFL is built and operated, but it is not company past performance.
