Hard-to-Find Sourcing
Where a requirement is specialized, constrained, or involves a legacy or difficult-to-source item, VFL researches availability using the NSN, manufacturer, part number, CAGE code, technical description, or solicitation information provided. Sourcing outcomes depend on market availability and are not guaranteed.
Distribution & Procurement
As an asset-light federal distributor, VFL functions as the commercial intermediary connecting government requirements with the supplier base: identifying sources, negotiating terms, placing purchase orders, and managing the transaction through delivery.
Documentation & Traceability
VFL coordinates product documentation, manufacturer information, certifications of conformance, and traceability records appropriate to the individual contract’s requirements, working directly with the source of supply to obtain what the contract calls for.
Packaging, Marking & Fulfillment
VFL coordinates applicable commercial or military packaging, marking, labeling, and shipping requirements through its suppliers or specialized fulfillment resources as appropriate to the order, ensuring product reaches its destination in the condition and configuration the contract specifies.
Federal Order Support
VFL is positioned to support DLA and DIBBS solicitations, other DoD requirements, simplified acquisition opportunities, small business and SDVOSB set-aside opportunities, government purchase card orders, and federal civilian agency requirements within its product scope.
